During the many years that we have been involved in ministry God has faithfully provided for us. We thank all those of you that have generously given.
A year or so ago, with no savings or assets to our name, we felt challenged to invest in the financial future of our family.
In faith we began a project in Croatia. Together with our good friends Ivan and Rahel Schmid (Church planters and owners of a Landcape Garden Business) (www.gartenkulture.info) from Switzerland, we bought a plot of land.
In November 2011, after much thought and prayer, we decided to sell our half of the property to Ivan and Rahel. We will however remain involved in the Croatia project, and I will oversea the remaining design and build. Ivan and Rahel will still build.
We remain excited by the idea of property development and hope to buy another plot and develop a small eco holiday village, comprising of several small eco-lodges. We hope to buy in Italy, where we could oversea design, construction, and renting it out. (*I continue to have a strong interest in environmental architecture and the property would feature timber framing / passive solar and ventilation, / a highly insulated airtight envelope, effecient heat exchanger etc.)
Any such project would be financed by renting the lodges out to holiday makers.
